**   To qualify as a Student / Fellow / Trainee, applicants must submit an official letter confirming status and signed by
     the Head of the Department. The letter can be submitted via scan/email to registration@ipa2016.com or fax to 1 604 685 3521. This is available for all countries.
*** Media Participants. The CPS considers accredited journalists to be editorial staff for the following: Newspapers, Magazines, Medical or health care publications and Broadcast or web-based media. To receive a media badge, media representatives must provide identification such as letter of assignment. All freelance journalists must provide a letter of assignment on company letterhead from an editor of a recognized news organization certifying they are covering the conference for the organization. Media registration includes access to the congress sessions. Please email registration@ipa2016.com with the letter of assignment.

All fees are in US dollars ($ USD). Our secure server will process MasterCard and VISA. American Express is NOT accepted. Charges on your credit card statement will appear as MCI Group Canada. Please note, there is an additional Offline Payment Processing Fee of $50.00 USD to be added to cheque and wire transfer payments.

Cheques should be made payable to IPA2016 c/o MCI Group Canada and must be received no later than August 12, 2016. All fees are in US funds.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please note that all congress registration fees are subject to the Cancellation & Refund Conditions below:


• Notification by 5:00 p.m. PT on June 30, 2016 - A refund will be granted less a $40 USD cancellation fee and a $60 USD administration fee per registration. 

• Notifications received after 5:00 p.m. PT on June 30, 2016, are 100% non-refundable. 

• Approved refunds will be processed and issued no later than September 30, 2016. 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat by email: registration@ipa2016.com 


In the case that your visa application is unsuccessful, you will be able to cancel your registration less a $50 administration fee. Cancellations will only be accepted if you have an official letter of rejection from Immigration Canada (CIC), dated prior to August 16, 2016. Please contact registration@ipa2016.com with your letter and invoice number prior to August 31, 2016 in order to process your full refund (less a $50 admin fee).


• Any change requiring assistance from the Congress Secretariat is subject to a $60 USD administrative fee.

• An alternate attendee name may be substituted if you are unable to attend the Congress. Changes can be made online through your email confirmation (click on EDIT/CHANGE Registration). Substitutions are subject to a $60 USD administrative fee if the change requires the assistance of the Congress Secretariat.


Credit card payments that require reprocessing for any reason will incur a $60 USD administrative fee.
